Learn to surf at Guatemala’s best surf break with bilingual coaches on beginner-friendly soft tops. Lessons start in the white water — paddling and popping up — and on small days you’ll paddle to the lineup for your first open-face waves. Experienced surfers can rent a board that matches their skill and paddle out.

Stand-up paddle through the mangrove trees of the estuary. Daily SUP tours explore Sipacate Naranjo National Park, where the interior mountains give way to dense mangroves, black volcanic sand, and more than 90 species of birds.

Every Thursday night we run the biggest beer pong on El Paredón beach, sponsored by Dorada Ice. Q25 per team per round includes 2 beers. Four rounds before elimination; the winner takes a Q700 cash prize.
Taco Tuesday all day — taco recipes at special prices and tequila shots. At night, gather friends for trivia and win a bottle of rum.
Every Tuesday we exchange a bag of trash (plastic and non-biodegradable materials) from the beach and streets for a cold Corona or a natural drink. Help us keep El Paredón beautiful.
